Carnegie Hall World Class Concert 2026 - Update & Photos of Event

29 students. One extraordinary stage. A journey that built confidence, creativity, and lifelong skills through music.

This summer, 29 students from Irvine School of Music, ranging in age from seven to adulthood, traveled from Southern California to New York City to perform at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall. Accompanied by four faculty members, students of varying experience levels came together for a memorable musical milestone.

More Than a Performance

At Irvine School of Music, we believe students don’t have to be perfect to pursue extraordinary opportunities. They grow by challenging themselves, embracing new experiences, and discovering what they can accomplish.

Our students’ journey to Carnegie Hall demonstrated how music builds more than musical ability. It develops confidence, discipline, creativity, perseverance, and the courage to step outside one’s comfort zone.

Learning Through Every Note

Our teaching philosophy combines strong musical foundations with creativity and individual expression. Through engaging lessons, dedicated practice, and supportive instruction, students learn to approach challenges, work through mistakes, and celebrate progress.

Whether a student is just beginning piano lessons or has spent years developing their skills, every stage of the musical journey offers opportunities to grow.

A Milestone, Not a Finish Line

The Carnegie Hall performance was an important achievement, but it was only the beginning. We look forward to bringing the inspiration, artistry, and confidence gained in New York back into our everyday lessons and the Irvine community.

At Irvine School of Music, we help students of all ages discover their potential through music—from early childhood through adulthood and beyond.
