INSTRUMENT DISCOVERY CAMP
Ages: 6–12
Experience: No experience needed
Tuition: $499 (5-day camp, 5 hours daily, materials included)
Schedule: July 6–10 or July 27–31 • Monday–Friday, 9:00am–2:00pm
Materials: All instruments provided
Breaks: One 30-minute lunch break and two brief 10-minute supervised movement breaks will be scheduled throughout the day to support student focus, comfort, and transitions between activities.

Explore, experiment, and discover your favorite instrument in this hands-on musical adventure. Each day introduces campers to a new instrument family including percussion, piano, violin, guitar, and voice.
Students rotate through engaging mini-lessons led by professional instructors, learning the basics of rhythm, sound production, and musical expression in a fun and supportive environment. Perfect for curious beginners ready to find the instrument that inspires them most.
MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP
Ages: 6–12

Materials: Music, scripts, and performance props provided

Lights up. Confidence on. In this high-energy musical theatre experience, campers explore singing, acting, and beginner choreography inspired by Broadway favorites and today’s pop hits.
Students develop stage presence, storytelling skills, and ensemble collaboration through daily vocal warm-ups, acting games, and movement activities led by Irvine School of Music’s professional faculty. The week culminates in a fun final showcase performance for families, giving every young performer a chance to shine on stage.
PIANO JUMPSTART CAMP
Ages: 5-12

Tuition: $299 (5-day camp, 3 hours daily, materials included)
Schedule: June 22–26 or July 20–24 • Monday–Friday, 9:00am–12:00pm
Materials: Instruments provided (keyboard at home helpful but not required)
Breaks: Two 15-minute snack breaks will be scheduled to support student focus and comfort.

Build a strong musical foundation in this fast-paced piano introduction designed for beginners. Students learn ergonomic technique, note-reading fundamentals, playing by ear, and creative skills like improvisation and composition.
Each day combines structured learning with fun repertoire ranging from Disney and pop to classical and rock favorites. Equivalent to eight weeks of beginner curriculum, this camp gives young pianists a confident start and ends with a mini performance for families.
MUSIC FUN TIME JUMPSTART CAMP
Ages: 2–3 and 3–5
Experience: No experience required

Schedule: June 15–19 or July 13–17 • Monday–Friday, 9:00am–12:00pm
Materials: Rhythm sticks, kazoo, worksheets, and musical crafts included

Designed for early learners, this joyful introduction to music blends movement, creativity, and foundational piano skills through the internationally recognized Music Fun Time program.
Students explore note-reading games, rhythm activities, mini rock band experiences, and age-appropriate instrument play while building coordination and listening skills. This dynamic 5-day session introduces the first eight weeks of the two-year Music Fun Time curriculum and concludes with a short parent performance during the final class.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I REGISTER?
After enrollment, our front desk team will contact you to confirm details, review expectations, and complete onboarding so your child is fully prepared for the first day.
WHEN CAN WE ARRIVE FOR CAMP?
Camp doors open 10 minutes before the scheduled start time. Please plan for timely drop-off and pick-up, as we do not provide supervision before or after camp hours.
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD BRING?
Please pack a healthy snack each day and only clear beverages. For 5-hour camps, students should also bring a simple lunch. All instruments and primary materials are provided unless otherwise noted.
WHAT BREAKS ARE INCLUDED DURING CAMP?
3-Hour Camps (9:00am–12:00pm):
Two 15-minute snack breaks will be scheduled to support student focus and comfort.
5-Hour Camps (9:00am–2:00pm):
One 30-minute lunch break and two brief 10-minute supervised movement breaks will be scheduled throughout the day to support student focus, comfort, and transitions between activities.
CAN PARENTS WATCH THE CAMP?
Parents are invited to attend the last 15 minutes of the final day for an informal student presentation.
WHAT IF MY CHILD IS SICK OR MISSES A DAY?
Please keep your child home if they are unwell. There are no makeups, refunds, or rescheduling options for missed camp days.
ARE CAMP TUITION PAYMENTS REFUNDABLE?
Camp tuition is non-refundable once registered unless the school cancels the session. Tuition may be transferred to class tuition if needed. Camps require minimum enrollment; if a session does not meet capacity, an alternate option or tuition credit will be offered.
ARE THERE ANY REFERRAL DISCOUNTS?
Yes. You may receive a $15 credit for referring a friend to camp, and a $25 tuition credit if a referred student enrolls in ongoing lessons.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED?
We accept MasterCard and Visa.
WHAT IS EXPECTED OF STUDENTS DURING CAMP?
Students should demonstrate respectful behavior toward instructors and peers at all times. Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in dismissal from the program without refund.
CAN MY CHILD BRING TOYS OR PERSONAL ITEMS?
Please label all belongings. Outside toys or electronics should remain at home unless approved. The school is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
WILL PHOTOS OR VIDEOS BE TAKEN?
Yes, we may photograph or record activities for promotional use. No student will be identified by last name without written permission. Families may request a media opt-out by notifying the front desk.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE CAMPS?
Each camp concludes with an informal performance or presentation for families. Our programs are designed to be a fun trial experience or a strong jumpstart into ongoing musical study.
